Hi, my name is little bit long: I Made Hendra Wirawan. You can call me Hendra, Madewira, or my nickname: emol. I am Male, 24 years old from Bali, Indonesia and proud father of three little angels.
Now I stay in Yogyakarta. One of Indonesia's travel destination cities. The city where you can feel the mix between modern and heritage cultures. Living in two unique cities is very inspiring for me.
I love to drawing since I was children and often won drawing & coloring competitions. I learn much from my mother. She is working as a tailor, until today! *WOW* Her excellent attention of details and dedication makes me understand the essence of art.
My switching from Pencil & Ink to Digital Technologies started in 1997 by autodidact. Then in 2002 I had a formal education in Graphic Design Programme in ADVY Yogyakarta. Knowing the facts that eCommerce and Digital Life will be the next-gen business, I continue my study by taking Bachelor Degree in Information Systems (IS) in STMIK AMIKOM Yogyakarta.
My very first freelance career began in 2004. Freelancing is very fun, you can make friend with your clients while get a business with them. I have some returning clients from UK, and we're still keep in touch whether just for chat or working seriously for their creative & marketing needs. I'm working as creative just because I love it.
On the other hand, I run small and fresh web hosting company to facilitate my clients & friends' demands. I also prepare my future by building a small but distinctive creative agency. I believe every big things are started from small one.
Talking about computers, currently I use 15.4" Apple MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz; the greatest portable machine ever. Being Pro is a dream for every Mac users and it makes me had a farewell for my Apple iBook G4 that I used for 4 years.
I never leave my Mac without UDG case wherever I go. While I'm not a real DJ, I really addicted with its beats and nightlife activities. There are lot of beats spinning around my head every single day. My favorite artists are Tiesto and Kaskade. My favorite genre are House, Trance, Dance, Drum & Bass, and Jazz. But sorry, I don't hear nor wear Hip Hop ;)
Mac increases lot of my productivity. Managing files, documents, finding new friends, or just keep my mood high are easy when using Mac. But, I do not want to be a fanatical user because I do Windows too. For gaming of course :p
On my spare time, I also manage MacwebID; Indonesian Apple User Group. Just to help other Mac friends out from the blue and to share useful tips. Other activities, I'm a participant of JCI (Junior Chamber International) Indonesia, region Yogyakarta.
Hunting Photography with my friends is my latest hobby. This is my first experience with digital camera and still improving my skill. I use Canon EOS 400D bought on late 2007. Very fresh ain't it?
